Residential plots must be at least 150 sq m. and Shops require a minimum of 300 sq m.

Non-Himachalis (Outsiders), Can buy land only if, They get special permission from the state government, have lived in Himachal for at least 30 years, don’t already own land in the state, and are not involved in agriculture.
